Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/09/2019

Number: 25

As you can see on the picture, we have so many caterpillars this year.

They are eating all of the milkweed, and I'm afraid we will be running out of the leaves soon.

If anyone has a bunch of milkweed left in my area, I'm happy to collect them and drop them off.

In the mean time, I will keep my eyes open and see if I see some milkweed patches in my area.

This summer is an amazing year for Monarchs, I have seen so many Monarchs this year. They have been coming and going to the milkweed patch.

Really exciting to see so many. The most I have every seen in my area over the past 10 years or so.
