I saw 3 very faded female monarchs laying eggs on milkweed in my butterfly garden and also along my neighbor's fence that has some single milkweed plants. The other 4 monarchs were brightly colored and flying about my backyard. Weather was partly sunny with the Wind NE-8. Temperature was 72 at 3 PM.
