sighted 3 today. Since Wed or Thurs one male Monarch has dominated my zinnia garden chasing away any other that visits. He flies back and forth over it checking for intruders most of the day. Today however, he was flying around gracefully with another monarch, I suspect it's a female. And saw a 3rd flying between my yard and the next. The zinnia garden is about 20'x6' and contains indigenous plants ---3 types of milkweed and joe pye weed, as well zinnias and butterfly weed.
Also saw one at Ballston, 1/2 mile away, while sitting at a traffic light.
