Observed Along the railroad for about 3 miles on from a slow moving train. One nectaring on swamp milkweed, I also observed 4 mating pairs in flight in about a quarter mile stretch. I truly believe if I could move on a slow moving train for the entire 200 miles of my trip I could count scores of Monarchs along the right of way through every zip code in which we pass.
