Monarch Larva Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/11/2019

Number: 1

I was delighted to find a Monarch caterpillar munching away on one of my 5 milkweed plants. I'm seeing a Monarch butterfly in my garden on almost a daily basis and am honored that one decided to lay its eggs here. There is plenty of food for the butterflies with Joe Pye Weed, Monarda, Coneflowers, sunflowers, Black-eyed Susans and various wildflowers in bloom.
