I've been remiss in reporting sightings at the VA Community Living Center Garden. Since Aug 2nd, resident vets have reported to me daily sightings of adult monarchs nectaring in the butterfly bush, sometimes several at once. I've seen individual Monarch fluttering around the CLC garden on three occasions prior to today. Today I saw a male and female nectaring simultaneously, so there were a minimum of two. They may have left and returned several times or there may have been more than one male.
