Two monarchs have been hanging around my yard and the field behind it. The pic is one nectaring in hairy balls milkweed. At one point they flew near each other kind of circling each other. I have not seen either laying eggs. I have seen many monarchs in our town this week but have been too busy with work to report each one. I feel this is a reasonably good year for monarchs for our area.
