Number sighted is an estimation. I definitely have three mature males,3-4 juvenile males,and I'm not sure about the rest. I'm refilling 4 3.5 oz. feeders every other day. On the whole,activity is typical for this time of year. However,I was expecting to have more as at the beginning of the season I had roughly twice as much more activity than usual,which continued from arrival in April until the 23rd of July. For four days we had below average temps and the hummingbird activity dropped to around half. With warmer temps going into the beginning of August, sugar water consumption increased gradually to what it is now.
