Aug. 16th 2019 about 1:40 - 4:40 on a beautiful afternoon at the Tip at Point Pelee National Park.
Observed about 54 Monarchs flitting about & nectaring on sweet clover, knapweed & bouncing bet & vervain. Eastern Black & Giant Swattowtails, American Snouts, Question Mark, Red-spotted purple, Cabbage whites....and alot of dragonflies flitted about. A glorious summer afternoon!
27°c with moderate to strong SSW wind.
Pelicans...24 of them took up some of our time while looking for Monarchs
