The last five Monarch eggs that I am raising of this year's last generation have hatched. All the Monarch butterflies I saw a couple of weeks ago must have been the last of their generation. They were breeding and laying eggs everywhere. I am seeing fresh Monarchs ( 10 so far today ) peacefully floating by eating nectar of wild red clover, goldenrod and the other late summer field flowers that are starting to bloom.
