Aug.18th 2019 A few of the 31 Monarchs seen this afternoon at Point Pelee National Park, not just at the Tip but throughout including about 6 flitting about & over The Marsh & 4 over west shoreline at West Beach.
A storm came in around 2:30 pm. We waited it out under cover afterward seeing a few more monarchs. Monarchs settled on trees of Hackberry, Hop & Sumac. Observed one with a small tear on its wing. Most were quite fresh looking.
