8am, 68 degrees and overcast. Two monarchs are feeding on meadow blazing star. These may be the two monarchs that were feeding until 8:27pm last night before they finally flew up in the neighbors big tree. I didn't think monarchs would feed that late but there they were. The sun had gone down, the solar lights flicked on and they were still eating. These guys are definitely filling up for a long journey.
