A lot of Monarchs on our grassland today. They must be still emerging here as many were feeding mainly on Rough and Meadow blazing star energizing for the trip. I took my tour about 3:30 PM today. Conditions are 75 degrees with a 15 mph wind from the North. I would think those ready for travel may have left today, it is encouraging to see so many still on the grassland.
