Last week and this, older male Hummingbirds have visited our 2 feeders. We usually have juveniles out front in the Maple tree where there have been nests for the past 3 years. (This year we were treated to 2 babies from that nest, usually only one.) This morning, before 7am EST, I saw 5 large males vying for the feeder. All summer the majority have been females and babies. One female, that must be an adult from our nests, will hover near me when I change the feeders. We've had a steady stream of visitors for 2 weeks.
