4 Hummingbirds where flying about and landing in large Ash tree in our neighbor's yard. Two of them were drinking from the feeders I have out. What was truely amazing was a large Owl was also perched in the tree resting or viewing his next meal. Hard to know, since he seemd alert but mellow. Two cardinals were upset and chirping to warn other birds. He stayed there for 40 mints and two of the 4 hummingbirds were hovering around him, as if they were reminding him that this was THEIR territory. Pics I have do not do the brave hummers justice! It was a sight to behold.
