Saw my first monarchs of the fall today! It was a very hot day in the 90's with high humidity and lots of sun, little wind. I spotted the first female around 4 in the afternoon and later a different female and a male around 5 p.m. They were nectaring on cosmos and butterfly weed in my garden.
