I walked to Harrisville State Park and counted 2 monarchs in directional flight heading south just above the beach along Lake Huron at 9:45 AM. The Wind was NNW-9-16 mph with the Temperature at 63F. I stayed until noon to see if a migration was on, but I observed no more monarchs. It was sunny with high clouds. Last year on this date, I counted 1,000 monarchs with just about the same weather conditions in 6 hours and 15 minutes.
