Saw one hummer nectaring on my salvia. Later saw one on my feeder. A second came and chased it away. Suddenly it seemed like a third hummer was involved, but they are so fast, it’s hard to be sure. If it was a third, it would be extremely unusual in my area. Will b e watching carefully. I have had daily nectaring on my monarda this year for over a month. First time this has ever happened. Maybe my years of planting to attract hummers is finally starting to pay off!
