People are seeing more cats this year. I’ve counted at least a dozen today and yesterday on milkweeds. Most size of one in photo. Forth or fifth instar. A couple smaller . Fall mowing in fields up here is an issue. It’s starting now. We’re setting up no mow islands in our fields where there are lots of milkweeds. Walking fields to find more to relocate to island refuges before mowing starts. We’re locked in this next year but no mowing until October next year. Others considering doing the same. Thanks for helping build the awareness.
