Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/24/2019

Number: 6

The evening began as I spotted just 3 monarchs, one with a rather tattered hind wing, nectaring--then it came time to turn in. There's a row of oaks along the street marked on the map; I spied one just by itself, and then I saw the others flying toward the tree in the pic. They weren't clustered as is typical during a migration, but all 5 were in this one tree and the one by himself in another.
