Sighted one single monarch caterpillar in backyard butterfly garden, very large in size probably will eclose in next few days. Was on pleurisy root/butterfly weed, was eating a seed pod even though there were plenty of leaves on the bush. Weather mild, mostly overcast throughout day, temp appx 72 deg nominal winds.
