2 Monarch males, on 8/24, exhibiting territorial behavior. 3 Monarch males on 8/25, 2 Monarch males on 8/26.
This is the first year I’ve seen so many Monarchs. Last year was the first year I had Swamp MIlkweed ( Incarnata and Tropical Milkweed.
I seemed to only had female Monarchs. I raised and released 25 Monarchs.
This year, I planted some pollinator plants and with the Milkweed, there have been a steady stream of females first, 1 or 2 on a daily basis. They have been leaving eggs.
