I took my 2 mile walk today and counted 31 monarchs on two different routes. All were on goldenrod, bull thistle, joe-pye-weed, and asters to keep out of the high wind. Weather was sunny with a few scattered high clouds with the Wind SE-20 gusting to 30 mph at 3 PM. Temperature was 72F. Rain was coming up from the south.
