I took a short walk on our grassland this afternoon and saw a good number of Monarchs. They were feeding almost exclusively on Meadow and Rough blazing star. A lot of other blooms too, Goldenrod, Sunflowers, Joe pye weed and Heath aster.
Wind today is WNW at 15 and is 73F. A good day for those wanting to travel.
