At Monarch Waystation #299 AKA the Virginia Living Museum a volunteer reported sighting a male monarch basking on a holly tree in the Conservation Garden @8:20 am. The same male was seen about an hour later nectaring on Buckeye flowers and the "cruising" the milkweed beds near the VIrginia Garden, Goodson House and Wason Education Center.
