Today I counted just 4 monarchs clinging to flowers on my walk in high winds. The Wind was WSW-12-32 mph under cloudy skies with the Temperature at 71F. There has been a hazardous beach warning for Lake Huron the last three days. I did a survey of the beach today at Harrisville State Park and found no monarchs or birds expired on the wet sand. The waves were 2-4 feet high.
