Last week the milkweed I was monitoring at a large multi-housing development was completely stripped of leaves by tussock moths which were everywhere. This week I moved over to another plot and killed the tussocks but collected 6 larvae (5 4th instars and 1 3rd instar) to raise due to deplorable milkweed and tussock moth defoliation.
