have been seeing Monarchs throughout August-usually 2 per day but today saw 3 adults. all appeared to be in good condition and active on phlox,joe pie weed plants,sunflowers,golden rod,zinnias and cone flowers.
we also have milkweed plants and saw 2 caterpillars.
