I went to my stationary count spot at Harrisville State Park at 10AM and counted 49 monarchs in 4 hours. The wind started out from the West at 6 mph turning to the NE at 10 mph and ending up SE at 3 mph with a fog bank moving in. No monarchs were counted in the last 45 minutes of the count. The skies were very cloudy with the temperature starting out at 66 and the high 70 before ending at 68F. Rain moved in at 3PM.
