I currently have at least 6 female/young Ruby throats and 1 Black chinned adult male feeding at my 9 feeders. When I got home at around 4 pm (I had left at 4 am) I found that 4 of my feeders were empty and the other 5 were getting low. I was out of fresh sugar water, so I quickly made a fresh batch, and when cooled sufficiently, hung 5 fresh feeders. By 7pm the hummers were feeding voraciously.
