I’ve had a huge increase in monarch caterpillars this year from less than 6 total in past years to easily over 50 total this year. They have almost totally defoliated my large swamp milkweed plant and my large butterflyweed plant and chewed heavily on the common milkweed as well. They have even eaten the seed pods on the Asclepius incarnate!
