We walked around our school, Breckinridge Elementary, looking for Monarchs. At the back of the school we spotted one Monarch that was resting on a shaded brick wall. There were no signs of rips on the wings. We left it alone for 10 minutes and then we came back and it flew to the high grass.
We watched from 12:29 pm to 12:51 pm.
