Yesterday, 9/3, I saw more hummers around my feeder and flying from tree to tree than I've ever seen in one day. I think I saw as many yesterday, or close to as many, as I've seen all summer. Not sure if it was a passing flock going south or locals fueling up to begin their journey. It was great seeing so many in one day, especially since I live in an urban area!
