A pair of ruby-throat hummingbird that summered-over in the nature reserve behind our house have now been joined by a second male.
There was a protracted "battle" over the single feeder we have out that lasted at least 5 minutes.
On one recent occasion, we also observed what appeared to be a male black-chin on our feeder
No other migrating hummingbirds have been sighted.
