Spotted this caterpillar starting into chrysalis yesterday on my dryer vent. Waited until this morning to move and saw it was already compromised in some way. Moved anyway just to be sure.
Most that I've seen this year seem to be getting compromised. Have not found culprits. There have been a large number of ants and a few spiders. My milkweed is also not in good shape from the previous hail damage. Lots of spots on what's left and leaves dying early.
