Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 09/05/2019

Number: 38

The wind has turned to the south. Many monarchs again nectaring in the clover field, but instead of journeying south, they are finding places in the trees nearby to roost. The clover field itself is protected from the wind by trees so it is an ideal spot to feed. They camouflage well on a small branch with dead leaves.
