I have 5 monarch Chrysalis as of today, probably more. There were around 40-50 monarch caterpillars on my swamp and common milkweed, evidently of about the same age. They have gone off this week in mass to pupate. I've been able to track some of them so can locate 5 of them. The two in the photo (one pupated, one in J position but now in pupae) are attached to some metal yard art. Two other are on zinnias and one is on a dahlia.
