I was surprised to see the Monarch today. We usually don’t see them until October. A wonderful place in my town is the playground out behind Carnall school. When I was a teacher, we would go out in October and see them flying diagonally across from the eastern side to the South!
Today I saw the Monarch in my back yard about 2 miles from there. All my milkweed has gone to pods but there are some flowers around because we have had u seasonal rain.
My question is/ do the Monarchs have scouts that go first before migration to Mexico?
