Starting September 1st I saw at least one monarch per minute, usually more leaving the prairie behind my home, heading west.
This continued through yesterday September 6th and today there are a few flying.
Incredible!!! I’ve never seen anything remotely close to these numbers in the nine years I’ve lived here.
