We had a huge number of monarchs this summer at our farm in Brooksville, Maine.

The caterpillars eventually stripped all of the available milkweed so we harvested some milkweed from Blue Hill MT in Blue Hill, Maine.
At one point, we counted ~ 200 caterpillars.
WE finally gathered up the remaining caterpillars and took them to a stand fo milkweed on Blue Hill Mt.
They are still hatching out.Today we have seen ~ 12 newbies floating around and landing on Jo Pye weed and flowers
