On Sept 5 were many more adults flying about. Today just spotted four. But alas found one just emerged from a chrysalis, which was attached to tall grass in a section of our meadows we left unmowed. See photo. What a wonderful surprise. Day time temperatures here dropped into 60s and nights in the 40s.
