Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 08/26/2019

Number: 6

Feeding on hydrangeas and the white garden phlox. There was no mating rituals nor were any monarchs laying eggs on milkweed. There were no dark dots so I assume they were all females or perhaps the males develop the dots when they are ready for mating in the spring.
