On my 2 mile walk today after an all morning rain, I counted 34 monarchs by 3:30 PM. They were mostly nectaring and resting on goldenrod with some others on Joe-pye-weed, bull thistle, butterfly bush, and one on a Purple Loosestrife. Weather was cloudy with the Wind WSW-11 mph gusting to 25 mph. Temperature was a muggy 78F.
