Hard to tell exactly how many, or if the ones we see in the morning are the same as in the afternoon. Buckbeak and Bella are clearly gone. One feisty male (possibly Buckbeak and Bella's son Hotspur) tries to chase off all interlopers, but there are too many for him to keep them away all the time.
