Strong NE wind - sunny day. I watched the monarchs coming across Lake Erie.

Monarchs are coming from Canada

Counts were made over a 2 hour period - at mid day.

Some of them stop on the beach - there are some goldenrod in the area that I have observed the monarchs land on - most continue flying
