Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 09/08/2019

Number: 4

I was sick today & stayed in bed. About 5pm my husband woke me up to see if I wanted anything to eat. He also stated that when he checked the hummingbird feeder's that one of the pinched waist Perkey-Pet feeder's was bone-dry. I did not realize that last night b4 bedtime he had placed another 4-port Perkey-Pet pinched waist feeder w other one so that 2 of them were hanging at kitchen window. In my 40-something years of feeding hummers I have never had a feeder to go dry. I told him to add the 32oz. Size Perkey-Pet feeder & place it between the other 2 smaller feeders. All ports have been filled with hungry hummers all day from 5:30am until around 7pm or dusk. All together we have 4 (2 of them are traveling ones) adult male Rubies, then mix of traveling females with our Summer females & Juvi's. Making a total of 12-15....Best guess...
