Actually, I saw two others a few weeks ago, and my husand saw one around that same time. Today, 11 Sept, I saw two more, although they looked rather small -- can't say if they were adult or newborn.
So that makes 5 sightings in the past month, but some of these might have been the same butterfly. . .
This is the first time in over 10 years that I have ever seen a monarch butterfly in my area.
