Nectaring on a massive planting of jewel weed in my backyard. So many jewel weed seedlings came up in the Spring from the explosive seedpods - it took over my back yard, but because it's in an area that we don't use, I left them there for the hummingbirds. I also saw a female nectaring on native coral honeysuckle this morning. I don't have a feeder but I plant mostly only native plants and I have been seeing hummingbirds on a daily basis for the past few weeks.
