Hard to get a very good count with south wind blowing nectaring monarchs around in the clover patch, and others seeking shelter out of the wind in the nearby trees. No big roosts, monarchs scatter to rest on leaves and branches. At 4 pm it was 86 degrees and sunny, humid.
