Hummingbird, Other Observations

Date: 09/11/2019

Number: 2

Same 2 as has been for last week. We made the mistake of cutting back the overgrown orange trumpet vines and some of the mulberry tree it was untwined with. The man didn’t realize it housed the hummingbird nest and I didn’t realize he was doing it until that evening when I suddenly could see the neon lights from town. The hummers moved on the next spring to nest and feed somewhere else. The two who are here now have taken up residence now in the re-grown trumpet vine and are seriously feeding from the feeders and salvia, what's left of the petunias and whatever else I have growing here. Could they be the same ones?
